I split my time between two kinds of problems. One is systems that have to be exactly right — a matching engine where two sessions must never cross orders, a backtest kernel where a single lookahead leak would produce a plausible and wrong result instead of an obviously broken one. The other is workflows that can tolerate a model's best guess, as long as the guess is labeled as a guess rather than quietly treated as fact.

Most of what's on this site comes out of three contexts: summer analyst work at Shanghai hedge funds, research projects I build and maintain myself, and Jinke Energy, a manufacturing and hardware business I founded in 2023 where I've been automating the path from a customer's design spec to a production-ready package.

Outside of that: the Wharton Investment & Trading Group's industrials team, the mechanical team at Penn Electric Racing, and the Wharton Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Club, where I help run workshops for founding teams and co-organize the club's annual Demo Day.
